Beulah E. Ahrendes, 86, of Salina, passed away April 17, 2018. She was born Nov. 16, 1931, in Burdick, to Edwin and Ester (Peterson) Carlson. She married Virgil Smith, the father of her children, in 1950 and later married Hilbren “Cork” Ahrendes July 17, 1966. She was employed at Westinghouse (Phillips) for 20 years.

Survivors: daughters, Jean Adam (Larry) of Salina, and Linda Hoeffner (Jerry) of Milford; grandchildren, Eric Adam (Brandee), and Jeff Adam (Stef); great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Karter, Karee, Kelsee, Kahlia, Sofi, and Haddi; and several nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by: parents; husband “Cork”; step-son, Frank; and three sisters.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. April 22, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, where the family will greet friends from 5-7.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, Salina, with burial at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
