Beverly Joyce Eldridge was born August 27, 1957 in Jeanette, Pennsylvania and passed away at Bethany Home in Lindsborg, Kansas on Monday, January 31, 2023 at the age of 65 years 5 months and  4 days.

Beverly attended high school in Lawrence, KS, graduating in 1975. She then went to KU and later went to Tuscon, Arizona to become a registered Nurse. She worked many years as an ER nurse at Salina Regional Health Center.
After retirement she worked at Dillons on  East Cloud in the deli .

Bev had a passion for photography, crocheting, quilting, scrapbooking, reading and crafts. When she was able she loved to travel . She loved animals and volunteered at the Salina Animal Shelter.

Bev loved every holiday and always wore a beautiful shirt to match the day .

She loved going to Clayton Ks and being part of the church and  family. She enjoyed the country rides and sitting on the porch watching the wildlife  drinking her morning coffee .

Bev is survived by her beloved rescue dog Cinnamon .   Cinnamon was allowed to visit Bev at Bethany and brought her and the staff so much joy .

She loved her last two years at Bethany Home . She made so many friends and attended activities. She loved the ones like family that cared for her . they will greatly miss her . She always liked to play jokes on them . She loved the Kansas City Chiefs and would turn on her call light when they scored a touchdown

Bev was preceded in death by her parents Ervin and Dorothy Eldridge of Salina KS.

She is survived by her extended family Janet and John Guerrero Salina, KS, Jo and Dennis Walker Clayton, KS and Don and Barb Brooks Clayton, KS.   Her Bethany family and other extended family and friends.

A private inurnment will be at Clayton, KS at a later date .

Memorials may be given to the Bethany Home activities department or the Salina Animal Shelter.

Thank you to all the Bethany staff, Dr Dinkel, Chaplain Mandy and GENTIVA hospice of McPherson and her friends for giving love and comfort to her.  To know Bev was a blessing.
