Beverly Karen David, 84, of Salina, passed away Friday, August 19th, 2022.
Beverly was born in Lamar, Colorado on October 27, 1937, a daughter of Roland Lowell and Zella Lucille (Walters) Ellenberger.
Beverly became a cosmetologist; she entered this field because she loved people and cared about making them feel and look their best. Beverly instilled a sense of pride and confidence for all her clients. Beverly’s mission in life was to help feed thousands of children throughout her lifetime. She was president of the board of First Choice Support Services, Inc. for 30 years.
Survivors: Bobbie Felzien (Mark), of Kanorado, Kansas, Melanie Wilson (Dan), of Olathe, Kansas, Mindy David-Graybeal (Rick), of Salina, Kansas, Bryan David, of Smithville, Missouri, K.R. David, of Overland Park, Kansas; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and her little dog, Cuddles.
Beverly is also survived by three sisters, Shirley Guder, of Lamar, Colorado, Billie Alderman (Harold), of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Judy Alderman (Larry), of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Alice Ellenberger, Henry and Nannie Walters; parents, Roland and Zella Ellenberger; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Roger Morris; daughter-in-law, Lyn David; and brother-in-law, Joe Guder.
Cremation has been chosen and graveside services will be held on October 28, 2022 at 11:00 am at Gypsum Hill Cemetery. Following the graveside service, family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life at Mindy and Rick Graybeal’s home.
