Billy K. Wing, 89, Salina, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023.  He was born April 23, 1934 in Dodge City, KS, to Lester and Emma (King) Wing.  He married Alice Marie Russell on November 16, 1958, in Hays.  Since the age of 12, he had been making model airplanes.  He also learned how to drive a semi at that same age, so he decided to make it his career and almost visited all 50 states.

Left to mourn his passing, is his loving wife of 64 years, Alice, of the home; children, Bill Wing (Karen), Gary Wing, and Julia Claspill (Randall); grandchildren, Billie Jo Wing (Adam), Ian Wing, Jody Wing (Kinsey), Meghin Pierce (Cody); great-grandchildren, Relighie Pierce and Mayer Pierce; brothers, Dale (Mary Ann) Wing, David (Doris) Wing; sister in law, Sharon Wing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Emma Mae Wing; brothers, Jimmie Wing and Kenneth Wing.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 22, at Trinity Lutheran Church.  Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 23, at Trinity Lutheran Church.  Inurnment will take place later in Hays.
