Bonnie June Cooke, 90, Salina, passed away Sunday May 15, 2022. She was born August 3, 1931 in Gypsum, KS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cooke; parents, Frank and Nora (Knapp) Kitterman; brothers, Neil Kitterman and a baby who died at birth; and sisters, Ketha Cline and Arlene Guthrie.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Cooke) Arvelo, Salina; two sons, Craig Cooke, Clearlake, CA and Curtis Cooke (Jan), Salina; five grandchildren, Jennifer McNeal, Joe Wigg, Curtis Jay Cooke, Katrina (Cooke) Ringler and Greggory Cooke; and six great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Bonnie was a breast cancer survivor, and active team member of Relay for Life for many years, a member of First Covenant Church and a dedicated Jayhawk fan.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the First Covenant Church, Salina.
