Christi A. Fields passed away on October 8, 2023 in Salina, KS.  She had been suffering with Alzheimer’s disease for over 15 years.

Christi Anne Vineyard was born December 25, 1956 in Topeka, KS to Donald Eugene and Pauline Francis Christensen Vineyard.  She has two sisters, Donna Vineyard, Salina, KS and Pam Stone, Overland Park, KS.

December 1960 the family moved from Topeka to Salina.  Christi graduated from Salina High School South, Salina in 1975.  She continued her education at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, KS and Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS with a degree in Social Work.

Christi married Stanley M. Fields in June 1996.  She has two stepsons, Stan Fields (Karyn) and Brad Fields (Adie), and six grandchildren.

Christi worked for several different companies/agencies and finished her career as a hospital social worker at Salina Regional Hospital, Salina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don (2018) and Pauline (1980) Vineyard.

Celebration of Life Graveside service will be held at Valley View Cemetery in Manhattan, Kansas, at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or charity of donor’s choice.
