Christy Jane Underwood ended her earthly journey on September 22, 2024.

Born Christy Jane Davis on December 26th, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Salina, KS in 1980.

She was married to her loving husband, David Underwood on May 4th, 1978.

Christy started her career in Kansas at The Salina Journal, where she retired. She went on to work at Lakewood Middle School and planned to retire, once again, at the end of 2024.

She lived her life happily and ornery with an unbridled love for her family and friends. She enjoyed the small things in life, but most of all, her time spent with family and friends. Her strength and dedication to her husband and son never ceased.

Christy was received in heaven by her parents Roger Davis, Norma and Richard Wolfe and sisters Kacy and Susan Davis.

She was survived by her husband David Underwood, son Jeremy Underwood, sisters Michelle Howell and Jesse Wolfe, brother Ricky Wolfe, Mother and father-in-law Faye and Norman Underwood, brother and sisters in law Mark Underwood, Rhonda Plante, and Christie Morgan, along with countless other family and friends.

Celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
