Clive Lavern Dunn, 86, died December 1, 2020. He was born December 2, 1933 in Formoso, KS, the son of Lavern and Mary Emily Dunn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dennis and Wayne.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Judith; 4 sons, Rick (Cathy), Dallas, Kelly and Derek (Kathy) all of Salina; 8 grandchildren, Dallas, Kasyn, Joshua, Jonathon, Addison, Mckenzie, Taylor and Tanner. There will be visitation at the Ryan Mortuary December 7, 2020 from 4 to 8 pm with family attending from 5 until 6 pm. A grave side ceremony will be at Gypsum Hill Cemetery at 1 pm, Tuesday, December 8di. Memorials may be made to Youth Baseball Fund, Greater Salina Community Foundation, 119 W. Iron Ave., Salina, KS, Memorial for Clive Dunn or University United Methodist Church, 1509 South Santa Fe, Salina. Clive was owner and operator of M &H Motors for over 30 years. After graduating from Emporia State Teachers College where he met his wife Judi, Clive coached and taught in Roxbury, Hanover & Stockton. The family moved to Salina in 1962 when Clive took a position with H.J. Heinz as a sales professional. Throughout his life Clive enjoyed coaching and supporting youth baseball and basketball, winning many tournaments. He was most proud of his years and contributions to the Babe Ruth Baseball program. Clive was an avid KU fan attending many basketball games and having season tickets to KU football. Through youth sports Clive touched many lives and will be sorely missed.
