Daniel Eugene Mincey,71, of Salina, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019. He was born April 17, 1948 in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Dan worked as a machinist for Alstom Power Air Preheater in Concordia, Kansas for 30 years.

He was in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969, then in the National Guard from 1969-1972. He was proud of his service to our country. Dan loved spending time with his family and with his dog, Cinammon. He also enjoyed fishing and playing bingo, where he made a lot of good friends. He enjoyed traveling as well, especially to his home state of Michigan. Above all, Dan loved the Lord and his faith was strong.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald E and Elsie R (Havens) Mincey.

Survivors include his wife Debra Mincey; children, Daniel Mincey Jr, Heather (Alan) Tessmer, Lewis Mincey, David Mincey, Sandra (Terry) Hanback, and Brenda (Eric) Boland; sisters Penny (Art) McCann and Rhonda Hurst; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
