Danny Lee Herndon, 73, a kind and gentle soul, of Salina, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022.

He was born July 10, 1948, in Independence, KS.

He worked for Raytheon Aircraft as a timekeeper and retired after 45 years of faithful and loyal service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; James and Virginia F (Jones) Herndon, and brothers; John Greene and Loyal Raymond Greene.

Survivors include his sister; Lucy V. “Sue” Barsch and her husband; Larry W. Barsch, of Clinton, IN., as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and 2 aunts, and many, many friends who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life service will start with a luncheon from 12:00pm – 1:30pm at the Salina Church of Christ, 1646 North Ninth Street, Salina, in their Church Fellowship Hall, followed by a “Come and Go Visitation” from 2:00pm – 3:30pm in the Church Auditorium.
