Darlene K. (Norris) Querbach left us to go to her heavenly home on March 3, 2024.  She was born in Salina, KS on October 19, 1944 to Melvin A. Norris and Emogene L.(Davis) Norris.

She attended schools in Salina and Topeka, KS. She started working as a trolley girl at Asbury Hospital and retired from Salina Regional Hospital Center after 42 years as the night cook.  She married Robert E. Querbach on August 11, 1973. They celebrated their 50th anniversary this past August 2023.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Bob and two sisters, Donna DeLaney and Linda Ogden of Salina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Paul Norris and Ron Norris.

There will be a visitation with the family on Friday March 15, 2024, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 16th at Ryan Mortuary. Burial will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
