Delmar Dean Sherbert, 90, of Salina, KS, passed away on September 5, 2024. He was born on February 22, 1934, in Clay Center, KS, to Virgil and Bertha (Haden) Sherbert.
Delmar was a talented woodworker with a passion for crafting beautiful pieces and a skilled lamp repairman known for his meticulous work.
He cherished his family and enjoyed sharing his talents and love for life with those around him.
He is survived by his son, Gary Sherbert (Cheryl) of Gypsum, KS; daughter, Judy Carleton (Loren) of Marion, KS; brothers, Marvin Sherbert (Jane) of Clay Center, KS, and Kenny Sherbert (Nancy) of Topeka, KS; sister, Retha Burnett of Hallsville, MO; 9 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Delmar was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Cynthia (Mildfeldt) Sherbert, and his brother, Paul Sherbert.
A private burial will be held at a later date at Broughton Cemetery in Clay Center, KS. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th St, Salina, KS, 67401.
Delmar will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
