Delouris Ruth Pollard, 97, began her new life with the Lord on Dec. 18, 2017 She was born in Wichita, KS on May 23, 1920, the daughter of Raymon and Ruth (McGuire) Tegarden. She graduated from North High School, Wichita, in 1940. Delouris married Duane Pollard on May 10, 1947. They shared over 70 years of marriage. She was a homemaker and always involved in church. She loved music and was a worship leader for many years.

Delouris was preceded in death by her brothers, Norman Tegarden and Robert Tegarden.

She is survived by her husband, Duane, Salina; her daughters, Evelyn Hartke, Sherry Brusie and Saundra Davis and son, Ray Pollard and a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and two brothers LeRoy and Charles.

Memorial services will be Friday, Dec 22, 2017 at 10:00 am at Salina Heights Christian Church, 801 E. Cloud, Salina with Pastor Gary Kennedy officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the church for scholarships to bible college.
