Dennis C. Hebert, age 70, Concordia resident, left this earthly life on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at his farm in rural Concordia. He was born on November 8, 1948 in Concordia, Kansas to Amos P. and Rosella B. (Lanoue) Hebert.
He was a 1966 graduate of Notre Dame High School, Concordia, Kansas.
Dennis was a local farmer, rancher and also worked for many years at Farmway until his retirement.
Dennis was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, past member of the Moose Lodge #1428 both of Concordia.
He enjoyed hunting, playing cards, reading, solving puzzles, and was an avid K-State & KC Chiefs fan.
Dennis is survived by his sister, Cheryl Sulkosky, Concordia and 2 nieces, Rose Sulkosky, Concordia, Rita Sulkosky, Tucson, AZ.; a nephew, Jared Sulkosky, Puyallup, WA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Michael Sulkosky.
Visitation will be held from 1-8 pm, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 with a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas. Family will receive friends after the Rosary.
It was Dennis’s wishes to be cremated and Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, Kansas with Fr. David Metz officiating.
Burial of the cremains will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, Kansas
