Dennis William Greene, 75, Salina, died Saturday, January 7, 2023.

Dennis was born July 5th, 1947. He was raised in Solomon, KS and has resided in his home north of Salina for 49+ years.
In 1967-68, he served in the Army during Vietnam as a Green Beret paratrooper for the 82nd Airborne. He was a man of many trades including mechanics, construction, carpentry, plumbing and more. He was also a Salina entrepreneur. He owned Anywhere Travel with his wife Ann, Dennis Marine Service, Dennis Repair, and was an original partner in A&A Towing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tim and Teresa, wife Ann, brother Mike Greene and two nephews.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy, of Salina; two sons, Chuck Kipp and wife Julie, and Travis Greene and wife Nikole, all of Salina; two daughters, Tiffany Benien and husband Jeromy, Tennille Piper and husband Jeff, all of Salina; three brothers, Tim Greene and wife Debbie of Arizona, Kevin Greene and wife Sandy of Idaho, and John Neilson of Solomon, Kansas; sister-in-law, Patty Greene wife to Mike; Great Aunt Madeline D’Heilly of FL; grandchildren, Kaylee, Garrett, Hannah, Rylee, Ryker, Tanner, Ryan; and many nieces and nephews.

Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and time with his family.

The funeral will be Friday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, Senior Pastor, Richard Fitzgerald officiating.

Following the service, an inurnment will take place in Greenville Cemetery, Niles, KS.

Following the inurnment, all are invited to a luncheon at the Hall by the Solomon Catholic Church, 3599 N. Field Rd., Solomon, KS.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary.
