Donald R. Hoerner, 74, of Salina, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019. He was born Feb. 9, 1945 in Manhattan, to Ray and Oletha (Hazen) Hoerner.
Don was a true MacGyver. If you wanted something fixed, he could do it. He enjoyed spending time with grandkids working on projects together and attending their events. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam era. He retired from Premier Pneumatics in 2009 where he worked as a lab manager for many years.
Don is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Pamela (Small); children, Candace Winkel (Gary), Colette Sorell (David), and Quinlan Raichel; siblings, Roberta Keen, and Paul Hoerner (Merlene); grandchildren, Taiten, Briana, Taelir, Chance, Sydney, Storm, Jenee, and Brock; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, Ray Keen.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 19, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N Eighth St, Salina.
