Dorothy Lucille Wolberd, 94, of Salina, passed away Jan. 14, 2018. Dorothy was born Feb. 11, 1923, to Henry and Jennie (Bruggers) Wolberd near Cawker City. Later the family moved to Lucas and owned the Lucas Hotel for many years.

In her twenties, Dorothy moved to Denver and worked many years for United Airlines. After retirement from United, Dorothy continued to live in Denver. In 2010 she moved back to Kansas residing in Salina.

She is survived by several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her siblings, Jacob Wolbert, Lillie (Wolberd) Kennedy, Elmer Wolberd, and Edward Wolberd.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th St. Salina, KS.
