Dr. Blase (Bill) Sibilla, 90, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, on May 2, 1928, to Biagio and Mary Sibilla. Dr. Sibilla was in Podiatric practice for more than thirty years. He retired from the military and served in the Coast Guard, Army, and Air Force.
Dr. Sibilla was a 4th-Degree Knight of Columbus; and a founding member of St. Elizabeth Parish. He also served on its Parish Council. He earned his 2nd-Dan black belt in Taekwondo. Dr. Sibilla was also an adjunct professor at Brown Mackie College.
Survivors: wife Judith; sister Cass; daughters Toni Rife (Jeff), Christine Sibilla, Linda Maslak, Patti Carbullido, Michele Sibilla-Martin, and Suzanne Sibilla-Coutches; sons Mark Sibilla (Amanda), Larry Sibilla, Scott Sibilla, and Chris Sibilla; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death: parents, sister Mary, brother Larry, son Chris, grandson Michael, and son-in-law Alvin.
Visitation: 4-8 PM with rosary at 7 PM, April 8, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Mass: 1 PM, April 9 at St. Elizabeth, Salina. Memorials: Masses for Bill Sibilla or to St. Elizabeth Parish.
