Dwayne Bray, age 47, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his residence in Orchard, Colorado. He was born June 24, 1971 in Belleville, Kansas to Gerald Bray and Teresa Kadel.

Dwayne was a 1989 graduate of Concordia High School and attended Wichita State University for more than 3 years.

Dwayne worked for Dillons as a Butcher in Colby, Kansas for 8 years. He later was a self- employed entrepreneur and owned and operated his own herbal remedy company in Colby & Orchard.

He was an avid gardener and enjoyed all types of animals and pets most all his life. He dearly loved his beloved pet dachshund Hailey.

Dwayne is survived by his father, Gerald Bray, Aurora, KS.; Mother, Teresa Kadel, Concordia, KS.; brother, Charles Bray (Tammy), Concordia, KS, sister, Taunya Kreie (Ed), Hiawatha, KS.; step-brother, Robert “Bob” Putman, Hebron, NE.; 6 nephews and 4 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Paula Bray, Paternal grandparents, Evelyn and Harlan Bray, Maternal grandparents, Ivan and Alice Kadel.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas with Pastor Randy Whitley officiating.

Inurnment will take place at a later time.

Memorial contributions may be given to the local Freedom Club of Concordia c/o Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
