It is with heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Ed De Herrera III, born in Saguache, Colorado on August 4, 1951.

Eddie passed away Monday, December 17th, 2018 at Salina Regional Health Center after an extended illness.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eddie De Herrera II and brother, Jimmy De Herrera.

For 19 years, he was the Hospitality Manager at Carlos O’ Kellys.

On December 5, 1999, Eddie married Monika Haley in Salina, Kansas.

Eddie leaves behind his wife, Monika De Herrera; mother, Mayo De Herrera of Salina; brothers, Roger De Herrera, of Topeka, Dan De Herrera, (Jackie), of Salina, Vernon De Herrera, (Kelly), of Anderson, South Carolina; sisters, Darlene Pena, of Vail, Colorado, Lillian De Herrera, of Salina, Vivian Jones, (Milton), of Castlerock, Colorado. His beloved children, Eddie De Herrera IV, of Wichita and Adrienne De Herrera, of Salina; the joys of his life, his grandsons, Adan, Alex, Andrew (Tiny), and Blake. All of his nephews and nieces, whom he loved very much.

Cremation has been chosen.

A memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, December 28th, at First Church of the Nazarene, Salina. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Gypsum Hill Cemetery Salina, Kansas.
