Edward William Sherman, 82, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, February 7th, 2020.

He was born in Salina, Kansas on March 9, 1937, a son of the late Florence and Edward Sherman.

Edward attended school in Gentry, Arkansas, Salina, Kansas, and received his GED from Garden City Community College. He retired from International Union of Operating Engineers, Kansas City, Missouri in 1997.

Survivors include his wife, LaVaun of the home; three sisters, Shirley Miller of Springfield, Missouri, Mary Muzingo of Streetman, Texas, Elizabeth Wooley of Boerne, Texas; two step brothers, Robert Duffield and George Duffield, both of Pompano Beach, Florida.

Edward will be buried at Gypsum Hill Cemetery during a private family graveside.
