It is with great sadness Elijah Maurice Carter tragically left this world on July 25, 2023 in Salina, at the young age of 18. Elijah was born March 10, 2005, along with twin brother Isaiah Carter at Salina Regional Health Center to parents Jennifer and Jonathyn Carter.
Elijah grew up in Salina, KS, along with four siblings. He loved spending time outdoors exploring nature, hanging out with his best friends Roman Dalme and Vincent Nouanlasy, gaming, playing football and basketball, and absolutely loved working out and jogging. His beautiful smile was kind, loving, and deeply infectious and will be missed by all.
Elijah graduated from Salina South High School in May. He is survived by his mother-Jennifer Carter, dad- Jonathyn Carter, twin brother-Isaiah Carter, brother-Cameron Carter, and sisters-Olivia Carter and Mariah Peterson, cousins-Ty and Andrew Streit and Taylor Erickson, Alex Rohr and Willaim Harrison, and Jordan and Reece Torling, Aunts Jessica Erickson, Jennifer Harrison, and Nicole Torling, and Uncle Todd Streit.
Elijah is preceded in death by his Grandpa Chris Peterson, Great Grandma Donna Anderson, and Second Aunt Sarah Corbett. Elijah will be cremated and his remains laid to rest at Brookville City Cemetery in Brookville, Kansas.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023 at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 611 Willis Ave, Salina.
