Elizabeth Jene Gibson, 83, of Denver, CO, passed away February 8, 2019. Elizabeth was born April 28, 1935 to Margaret and Cloyce Kasson in Salina, Ks.

She attended Salina Schools k-12 and graduated from Salina High School in 1953. She finished Colorado Woman’s College and received a bachelor’s from The University of Northern Colorado. Later she received a Doctorate from the same UNC. She taught in Salina Schools for many years. She was also a school principal, and a school district special education director. Although she hasn’t lived in Salina for many years, she always thought of it as home and was very proud of her city. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Harry B. Gibson.

Memorial Service will be Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
