Ellen Marie Vaupel, 92, of Salina, Kan., passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024. She was born on November 2, 1931, in Salina, to Edward and Berniece (Swanson) Snyder.

Ellen enjoyed golfing, camping, playing cards, and going to Arizona in the wintertime. She was a member of the Ladies Golf Association of the Salina Municipal Golf Course and a life-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Salina.

Survivors include her husband, William; sons, William Vaupel Jr., Gary Vaupel (Tamra), and Ronald Vaupel (Suzanne); six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Leland Snyder.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Delmar Snyder.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, January 28, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, with family present from 6:30-8. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 29, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Salina, with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Salina.
