Emiliano Delgado, 75, of Salina, KS, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024. He was born on August 8, 1949, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Santos Delgado Porras and Elisa Salgado de Delgado.
Emiliano was a rancher and farmer in Mexico before coming to the United States, where he worked many years in road construction for APAC.
Survivors include his wife, Socorro Delgado; son, Jorge Delgado and wife, Rocio; brothers, Saul, Noel, and Santos Jr.; sisters, Manuela Garcia, Maria L. Bonilla, and Maria C. Reveles; grandchildren, Vanessa, Cynthia, Jackie, Evelyn, Abigail, Monserrate, Fernando Jr., Sammy, and Abeline; great-grandchildren, Josey, Aiden, Martin, Danilo, Jaylah, Daisy, and Liam; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and son, Fernando Delgado Sr.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 118 N 9th St, Salina, KS 67401, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 4, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, with Father Rafael Indave Campos as celebrant. Burial will follow in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Salina.
