Ernest A. Hanzlicek, 94, of Salina passed away Friday Feb 15, 2019.
He was born March 6, 1924 in Wilson, the son of Ernest and Josephine
(Dolezal) Hanzlicek. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and the
Korean War. Ernie worked for Lee Hardware Co. for 27 years, then
later worked for School Specialty Supply prior to his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 71 years. Arlene
(Lingo) Hanzlicek; son, Ronnie; two brothers, Richard and Miles; and
two sisters, Evelyn Tarn and Josephine Hanzlicek.

Survivors include a son, Dale and wife Edna; grandchildren, Kyle and
wife Katie and Kristen Hajek and husband Darrin; great grandchildren,
Greyson Hanzlicek, and Dayton and Karston Hajek; and nieces and
nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, Feb 21, 2019, at the
Trinity United Methodist Church with burial of ashes following in
Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials are to the Trinity United Methodist
Church. Ryan Mortuary is in charge.
