Eva J. Wendt, 92, of Salina passed away Tuesday, Jan 1, 2019. She was
born July 20, 1926 in Hutchinson, MN, the daughter of Frank and Mary
(Rasmussen) Potter. Eva worked as an executive secretary for the
LaCrosse, WI newspaper, she worked in hotel management with her
husband Ray, and was librarian at Marymount College in Salina.

Eva enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat, “Smokey Joe.”

She was preceded by six brothers and two sisters and her husband, Ray F. Wendt.

Survivors include three daughters, Debra (Jeffrey) Burns, Susan
(Jeffrey) Wolford, and Mary Pat (John) Hemmy; one sister, Mary
Bergemann; three grandchildren, Allan, Stacy, and Scott; three great
grandsons, Logan, Michael, Carter.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, Jan 4, 2019, at the Ryan
Mortuary. Cremation was chosen, there will be no visitation.
Memorials are to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Salina, in care of Ryan
Mortuary.
