Frances M. Eakins, age 92, died Friday, November 15, 2019 at 5:30 am in Grand Junction, CO. She was born on Aug. 22, 1927 in Rural Concordia, KS to John O. & Stella M. (Snider) Hale.
She had many interests in life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; William Herbert (Bill) Mathis on Feb 25, 1981, Duane Lee (Smoky) Willmarth on Aug 18, 1973, Arthur Lewis Eakins on Jan 6, 2002, her daughter Rollen Kie Willmarth on July 14, 1970 and three of her younger brothers.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #588 and American Legion Post #76 both of Concordia, Kansas.

She is survived by her daughters, Lora Mathis, Ft. Worth, TX & Kathleen Gee (Terry), Ft. Worth, TX; sons, Morris Willmarth, Hermiston, OR & Ralph Willmarth (Lori), Grand Junction, CO; 7 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Burns officiating. Burial will follow at the Hall Cemetery, Delphos, Kansas. Visitation will be Monday, November 25, 2019 from 1-8 pm, with the family receiving friends from 6-8 pm at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
