Freda M. Jackson, age 84, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS. She was born on June 7, 1934 in Aurora, Kansas to Levi G. & Marie D. (Breault) Bouley.

Freda graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School in Concordia. On June 14, 1952 she married Fred “Keith” Jackson in Concordia and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2016. Freda worked as an activities director at a nursing home.

She was a member of Our Lady Perpetual Help Catholic Church; Catholic Daughters, VFW Ladies Aux. & was a CCD teacher for the church.

Freda’s passion was raising her family and spending time with all of them.

Survivors include her son, Jim Jackson (Susan), Concordia; daughters, Susan Goodman and Cindy Peterson, (Mike), Salina; sons, John Jackson (Karen), San Diego, CA.; Ron Jackson (Leila), Topeka; daughter, Lori Walter (Brian), Salina; sisters, Gloria Clintsman (LaVerne), Concordia & Theresa Wisbey (Gary), Salina; 8 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith; daughter, Linda Jackson; her parents & sister, Marcella Valek.

Visitation will be Thurs., July 5, 2018 from 1-9 pm with a Vigil & Rosary service at 6 pm and family greeting friends after the Rosary all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, July 6, 2018 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Fr. David Metz officiating. Burial will follow at St. Concordia Cemetery.
