Gary Richard Galbraith, 68, Salina, died August 29, 2023. He was born April 13, 1955, the son of Raymond and Mary (Sweeney) Galbraith. Gary was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Afghanistan and received a Bronze Star. He served 32 years in the Army and Kansas Army National Guard. In Salina, he worked many years for Salina Supply Co and was a passionate Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Gary is survived by his wife, Janice; stepsons, James Johnson (Shona), of Wichita, and Rodney Reinking (Stephanie), of Salina; brother Tim Galbraith; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Steve Galbraith.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth, Salina. Burial with full Military Honors will be in the Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, KS. 66048, on Monday, September 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.

Memorials are suggested to Salina VFW Post 1432, Sunflower Adult Day Services or Gentiva Hospice.
