George John Ash, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 27, 2018. He was born in Salina, Kansas on December 1, 1947, to Mahlon and Hannah Ash, the third of five children.

 He attended Gypsum High School and continued his education at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. George worked for Morrison’s Grain and Hog Farm in Smolan, Kansas. He later owned and operated Ash Construction.

George is proceeded in death by a brother, Dennis Ash, Father, Mahlon Ash and Mother, Hannah (Schneider) Ash. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Ash, of the home, son, Mark Ash, of Salina, daughter, Kelly (Von) Temple, of Wichita, four grandchildren, Micheal (17), Avonlie (17), Jadrianne “Jade” (12) and Devon (7), all of Wichita. Sisters, Sandy Kruse and Nancy Scanlan, both of Gypsum, Kansas, and brother, Robert (Jackie) Ash, of Lindsborg, Kansas. Many family and friends.

There will be a Memorial and Celebration of Life Service on January 5, 2019, at 10:30 am at the First Baptist Church, 807 Spring Street, Gypsum, Kansas 67448.
