Glenna May Shannon, 85, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 20th, 2017.

Glenna was born in Wichita, Kansas on May 3, 1932, a daughter of the late Elida Bell (Cody) and Charlie Sam Anderson.

On November 27, 1956, Glenna married David Shannon. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2015.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Knox and husband Steve of Minneapolis, Kansas; grandson, Shawn Knox, of Minneapolis, Kansas; brother, Clarence Anderson, of Hillsboro, Kansas; and sister, Norma McCary and husband Bill, of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by many extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David; son, Bill Shannon; brothers, Carl Anderson, Gene Anderson, Albert Anderson; and sister, Mary Ann Kaufhold.

Visitation will be Friday, December 22, 2017 from 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Carlson – Geisendorf Funeral Home with family present from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 23, at First Southern Baptist Church, Salina, Kansas, with Rev. Greg Savage officiating.

Cremation will follow the funeral.
