It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Hannah Calley Seal. Hannah was the loving mother of Juniper Mae and the adoring wife of Thomas Gabriel Seal. She was born in Salina, KS, on December 28, 1998, where she was raised and loved by Sammy & Kristen Cell and Jeff & LaShon Turner.
Hannah graduated from Salina Central High School in 2017 and then moved to San Clemente, CA, to be with her husband. They were stationed at Camp Pendleton for 4 years and had their daughter Juniper in 2019. Becoming a mother was Hannah’s greatest joy.
In 2021, Hannah returned to Kansas to be near family and attend Salina Area Technical Nursing Program. Hannah obtained her Practical Nurse License on June 10, 2022. Upon her husband’s completion of the Border Patrol Academy, they purchased their first home in Palm Valley, TX.
Hannah worked on the Comprehensive Medical Unit at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. The love and compassion she shared for her patients was extraordinary. Hannah was awarded the Guardian Angel Award, which recognizes caregivers who made a difference during a patient’s hospital stay. This award is a nationwide honor that truly highlights the passion she had as a nurse.
Hannah enjoyed making memories with her family, going on adventures, traveling, exercising, cuddling her beloved fur babies, Oliver and Gus, shopping way too often, and soaking up the sun at the beach. Her favorite trips were to Catalina Island, Cozumel, where she swam with dolphins, and Ensenada, where she held a baby lion. Her hobbies included reading, painting, crafts, riding horses, decorating their home, and movie nights with her family. Hannah dreamed of the day when they would be able to purchase a farm where they could have horses, so she could share her passion with her daughter.
Hannah is survived by daughter Juniper Seal; husband Gabe Seal; parents Sammy and Kristen Cell (KS), LaShon and Jeff Turner (KS); sisters Rachael & Ricardo Galvan (KS), Amanda Hutton (KS), Megan Hutton (KS), Kylie Fulton (AZ), Cierra Cell (KS), Jordan & Jayson Chapman (FL), Madison Starr (KS), and Sadie Starr (KS); Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and so many others that loved her dearly.
