Jack D. Larsen, 84, of Salina passed away Friday, July 5, 2019. Jack was born in Salina, July 22, 1934 to Harry and Marie Larsen. He married Mary Katherine Rundell, June 11, 1960. Jack served in the Air Force for four years, retired from the US Post Office after 31 years as a letter carrier, and worked for Cunningham Floral for 20 years.
Jack was a graduate of Salina High School, he was active at Faith Bible Church in various leadership and volunteer positions, and was an accomplished bowler. He was also a member of the National Association of Federal Employees and the National Association of Letter Carriers.
Jack’s surviving family include: his wife of 59 years, Mary Katherine (Rundell) Larsen; his son, Rick D. Larsen and daughter-in-law Christel of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Chase, Chloe, Colten and Carter; sister, Harriett Duell of Holyoke, Colo.; step-sisters, Janet Weis and Jackie House; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, with the family present 5-7 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary, 137 8th St., Salina.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, at Faith Bible Church, 2100 Quincy St., Salina, with burial following in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
