James Allen Weir, 59, passed away Friday, August 15, 2022. He was born August 14, 1963 to John B. and Seara S. (McIntosh) Weir in Salina, KS. He attended and graduated from Salina South High School. James was active in 4-H especially the horses project. He was a competitive showman throughout Jr. and Sr. high school. James went to state swimming all his high school years. He was involved in theater in high school and Salina Community Theater. James attended the University of Denver, Colorado. It was in Denver he perfected his skiing technique.

He is survived by his mother, Seara Weir, Salina; his special sister Mary Ann Weir, St. Paul, MN; children, Elizabeth K. Emrick, Ava, MO, Johnathan J. Weir, Colorado Springs, CO, and Mathew W. Weir, Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Alexis, Cayden, and Finnley Emrick, all of Ava, MO, Sophia Weir, Colorado Springs, Co, and Jackson, Henry, and Leo Weir, all of Indianapolis, IN. James was preceded in death by father, John B. Weir.

Family will greet his friends from 2 to 4 p.m., at 829 Millwood Dr., Salina on Saturday August 27, 2022.
