James “Jim” Barton Copple, 76, of Lindsborg, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, July 10th.
He was born in Fullerton, Nebraska on November 28, 1942, a son of the late Ruby Evelyn (Ward) and LeRoy Barton Copple.
Jim was a dedicated Pharmacist and owner of Apotek Pharmacy in Lindsborg for many years. He was an avid golfer and a diehard Nebrasa Cornhuskers fan. He was a very caring and generous husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy; sons, Kevin Copple of Columbus, Ohio, Michael Copple of Lawrence, Travis Johnson (Jessica) of McPherson, and Tanner Johnson (Rosa) of Loma Alta, Ecuador; and brother, Ben Copple (Claire) of Omaha, Nebraska.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, James Copple, Chase Copple, Peyton Johnson, Krew Johnson, Beckett Johnson, Reece Johnson, Mia Moore, Yngve Johnson, and Astrid Johnson; one great grandson, James Copple Jr.; and his dog, Wilson.
Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Harlan.
Memorial service will be Tuesday, July 16th at 1:00 pm at Bethany Lutheran Church, 320 N. Main Street, Lindsborg, Kansas.
Memorials may be made to the church, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio Street, Salina, Kansas.
