James Ray Bennett, 70, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, February 23rd, at University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas.

Jim was born in Salina, Kansas on October 27, 1950, a son of the late Lila Faye (Wann) and Richard M Bennett.

He did many things over the years including home remodeling, was a driver for Salina Charter Coach, apartment upkeep for Bennett Rentals and was a driver for St. Francis Ministries.

Survivors include his wife, Dawnetta Bennett of Salina; four sons, Robert Bennett, of Kansas City, Kansas, Brian Bennett, of Kansas City, Kansas, Christopher Bennett, of Salina, Aaron Bennett, of Salina; and sister, Connie Adkins, of Salina. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Dakota, Raiden, Jack, James, Olivia, and Jaden.

Jim is preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Bennett and sister, Janis Bennett.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
