Janice “Jan” Stoddard, 82, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away at 12:45 a.m., Tuesday, February 27th, 2018 while in the company of family members, at her home.

Jan was born in Plattsmouth, Nebraska on April 15, 1935, a daughter of Florence (Evans) Mosher and Elmer Yardley.

Through the years Jan worked at Kit Mfg. and Sterling Drug, McPherson, Kansas.

Janice enjoyed crocheting, baking, spending time with her family especially her granddaughter, and loved watching the old wild west shows.

She is survived by her children, Joyce McIntire and her husband Ron, of McPherson, Kansas, Timiothy Christensen and his wife Dianna, of Lamar, Arkansas, Dennis Christensen, of McPherson, Kansas, Roger Christensen and his wife Linda, of Texas; her sister Helen Pelton, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Stacy, Kurt, Erin, Scott, Matt and Adam; her great-grandchildren, Octavier, Storm, Taylor, Aeris, Christian, A.J. and Jaxon; her great-great-grandchild, Castiel

Jan was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Lula Rhoden; a son Mike Christensen and great-grandson Timothy Kaufmann.

Private family service will be held at a later date.

Final resting place will be at the Smoky Hill Cemetery, Lindsborg, Kansas.
