Jeanette Lucille Wilcox, 85, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Thursday, June 9th, 2022.
Jeanette was born in Salina, Kansas on November 9, 1936, a daughter of the late Antoinette Cecila (Shanahan) and Louis Charles Giersch.
She was a homemaker. After her children were grown, she worked as a sales lady at Sunflower Carpet, managed Elmore Gift Shop, and was a sales lady at Norris Furniture.
Jeanette was part of Big Brothers Big Sisters and her passion was gardening and flowers.
She was married in 1956 and had 4 children, Cynthia Wilcox, Mark Wilcox, Douglas Wilcox, Curtis Wilcox.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Wilcox, of Overland Park, Kansas; three sons, Mark Wilcox (Debbie), of Lenexa, Kansas, Doug Wilcox (Sandra), of Salina, Kansas, Curt Wilcox (Paige), of Trophy Club, Texas. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Anna M. Donmyer, Louise Appleby and brothers, John L. Giersch, and Donny Giersch.
Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned at this time.
