Joe Hartman, 42, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021. He was born March 18, 1979, at the U.S. Naval Base Subic Bay in the Philippines. He spent most of his childhood in San Diego but has been a Salinan for most of his life.

Joe “MF” Hartman was a force of life. His unique personality and crazy antics were the cause of an immeasurable number of smiles and deep-rooted laughter. Anyone that knew Joe personally, has a ton of stories to tell, most of them almost unbelievable. While he was big and scary to those that just saw him, he was a big teddy bear to those of us that were lucky enough to know him. His voice, laughter, and everything that is Joe “MF” Hartman will always live on.

Visitation for friends and family will be from Noon to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N Eighth, Salina. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
