John F. Geisler, age 59, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at the Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas. He was born on August 12, 1961 in Concordia, Kansas to Clarence D. and Dorothy E. (Otott) Geisler.

John was a 1978 graduate of Clyde High School, with recognition in football and baseball. He attended Ft. Hays State University, on a football scholarship.

He married Alicia Bell in 1980 and later divorced. Later married Jacqueline Ellis in 1989 later divorced. John lived with his best friend Janet Sommerlund for the last 20 years.

John worked for Geisler Roofing Company with his father Clarence and his brother Steve for many years. He then moved to Kansas City area and joined the local 20 Roofers Union until his retirement. He was a member of the Franklin County Independent Bikers Association.

John loved sports, motorcycles, classic cars, and antiques.

John is survived by his 4 children, 3 sons, Travis Geisler, MO; Jason Weaver, Topeka, KS; Clarence Geisler, Concordia, KS; and a daughter, Jessi Alexander, Belleville, KS; a sister, Cynthia Eustice (Brian) Junction City, KS; 2 brothers, Steve Geisler (Karen), Manhattan, KS; William Geisler (Catherine), Williamsburg, KS; 14 Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Dorothy, brother, Scott Geisler, and infant brother, Mark Wayne Geisler.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later time.
