Joy Gale Northcutt, 64, of Salina, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020. She was born in Spokane, Washington, on February 10, 1956, to Loren and Billie Marie (Niemann)) DeWitt.
The family came to Salina in 1965 where she attended school. She graduated from Salina Central High School in 1974. Joy married Bob Northcutt on June 10, 1978. They raised four children.
Joy’s love of and devotion to family was strong as she supported their schools through many committees and especially loved their sporting activities. She and Bob cared for Joys mom for 20 years in their home.
Joy had a great gift in arranging flowers and was always up for family weddings, proms, and other special occasions. She also had a passion for animals and was very active in Salina lost and found pets.
Survivors include her husband, Bob, of the home; children, Willie Northcutt (Kelly Clarkson), of Lawrence, Sandra Williams, of Topeka, Adam Northcutt (Kristi), of Phoenix, AZ, Billy Jo Northcutt (Beth) of Salina; brothers, Roy DeWitt (Carol), of Osage Beach, MO and Rodney DeWitt, of Lincoln, NE; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
