Judith K. “Judy” Huninghake, 71, of Salina, passed away suddenly Friday, March 1, 2019. She was born July 27, 1947, in Baileyville, to Edwin and Alvina (Wessel) Brucken. Judy married Larry Huninghake, Feb. 1, 1969, in Beattie, and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She worked for many years at Bogeys and True Value in Salina.

She is survived by: her husband, Larry; daughters, Tana Huninghake of Salina, Beverly Hokr (Russ) of Lindsborg, Jennifer Starkel (Jerry) of McPherson, and Melissa Huninghake of Salina; grandchildren, Tishnah Nelson (Ryan), Jessica Stiawalt (Chris), Cody Starkel, Amanda Starkel, and Shane Starkel; great-grandsons, Austin Brown and Justin Nelson; and brother, Bill Brucken of Rogers, Ark.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; and brothers, John and Larry Brucken.

Cremation was chosen and services will be at a later date. Ryan mortuary, Salina, is handling arrangements.
