Judy Kay Gaston, 54, of Salina, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021. She was born October 12, 1967, in Burlington, Colorado.

Judy was the kind of person whose personality lights up a room. She was always a caring, driven individual, earning her bachelor’s degree in Business online from the University of Phoenix while raising two children and working a full-time job. She was a loving spirit, raising an assorted brood of cats and dogs in addition to children. She was the kind of person who would always help a friend in need. The world needs more people to be like her. She will be severely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margarete (Vollhardt) Harrison.

Survivors include her father, Marvin Harrison of Salina; children, Katie Paulson (Anthony Lepape) of McPherson, Raymond Gaston of Salina.

Brothers, Bruce Harrison (Deborah Harrison) of Louisville, Mississippi, Otis Harrison (Joyce Harrison) of Salina, Mike Harrison (Rebecca Harrison) of Union, Mississippi, Brian Harrison (Gloria Harrison) of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The family and close friends of Judy will be hosting a private celebration of life at her former employer, Ashley Furniture, 2534 9th St. Salina, KS. This celebration of life will take place on November 21, 2021, 10am-12pm.
