Kathleen R. Jackson, 67, of Salina, KS, passed away on September 25, 2021.
Kathy grew up
on a farm in Clayton, KS. Although she held a wide variety of jobs, Kathy was known for her work at St. Joseph Children’s home, OCCK, Ashby House, Administrator for the Salina
Emergency Food Bank and business owner of People In Need Payee Program (P.I.N).
Kathy enjoyed a life dedicated to the service of others and will be dearly missed and always
remembered.
Kathleen Jackson was predeceased in death by her siblings Bernadine Dougherty (Art), T.A.
Mindrup, Charles Mindrup, Barbara Mindrup, Joyce Elaine Mindrup, Edward Mindrup.
She is survived by her husband Travis Jackson, and her daughter Juaacklyn Jackson, her children, Sade and Declan Denny, and son Jameel Jackson, his children Trevon, Estelle and Lilly. This includes her siblings Donna Honeycutt, Doris Pestinger (Russell Anspaugh), Frank Mindruip (Maureen), Pat Mindrup (Jim Kapeller), sister-in-law Ruza Mindruip, many nieces, nephews and
many, many other children and their children.
Kathy requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Kathy’s loved ones to join
us in celebrating her beautiful life at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, October 4, at 10:00 a.m. For those wishing to send flowers, send them to Roselawn Funeral Home, 1920 East Crawford, Salina, KS 67401.
