In loving memory of Kaylee Jo Evans, who was born on November 4, 1991, in Salina, Kansas, and tragically passed away on February 21, 2024, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Kaylee Jo was the beloved daughter of Melvin Evans and Darbi Shields.

She was preceded in death by her dear grandfathers, Daniel Evans and Butch Hulse, and cousin April Martinez.

Kaylee Jo leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

She is survived by the father of her children, Hoyatte Harris, and their precious children, Hayden Harris, and Chloe Jo Harris. Kaylee Jo is also survived by her siblings: sister Brittany Evans, brother Jesse Wassenberg, brother Mikey Hurt, brother Audie Evans, and sister Tessa Evans. In addition to her immediate family, Kaylee Jo is mourned by her grandparents, Devin Thomas, Debbie Thomas, Nancy Evans, and Rosemary Evans. She is also survived by numerous extended and blended family members who were touched by her kindness and warmth.

A private funeral service will be held to honor and remember Kaylee Jo Evans, whose gentle spirit and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she shared so generously during her time on earth.
