Kenneth “Kenny” Bray, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at his home in Aurora, KS. He was born on March 9, 1947 in Concordia, KS to Charles H. & Beulah E. (Harter) Bray.
He graduated from Scandia High School in 1965. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1967-1969. He married Bonnie Lanoue on Aug. 2, 1974 in Concordia, KS. He was a diesel mechanic for Boogaarts Grocery and later Martin Tractor until his retirement.
Kenny loved to fish and was an avid pool player. He was a member of the American Legion.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Bonnie, Aurora; daughter, Amy Sulanka (Randy), Aurora; sons, Jeffrey Bray (Kelly), Hutchinson & John Bray (Michelle), Concordia; grandchildren, Kayla Simmons, Sahra Bray & Lora Bray, Hutchinson, Dane & Dylan Sulanka, Aurora & Emma & Logan Bray, Concordia; brothers, Leland Bray, Concordia & Gerald Bray, Aurora.
He was preceded in death by his parents & sisters in law, Arlene Bray and Paula Bray.
Private family graveside services will be held Friday, April 17, 2020 at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Aurora with Pastor Bob Burns officiating and Military Honors by the U.S. Marine Corps.
