Larry C. Merriman, 82, of Assaria, Kansas, passed away on August 31, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was the best Husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend to so many.

Larry was born on March 3, 1941, in Salina, Kansas, to Harry and Jessie Merriman. He graduated from Salina High School in 1959. He worked as an electrician for Merriman and Hoeffner Electric and retired from Phillips Lighting.

He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie of 62 years, daughters Deborah (Jack) Shelton, and Jennifer Enochs, Grandchildren Joshua (Kendra) Merriman, Logan (Ciara) Breault, Molly Schmidt, Sam Enochs, Jessie Enochs, Abby Shelton, and Great Grandchildren Gunner Greer, and Brogan Merriman, Sisters Mary Lou Arnold, Claudine Ashcraft, and Glenda McAfee, Son-In-Law Brad Breault, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughters Christie Breault, and Laurie Schmidt, parents Harry and Jessie Merriman, brothers Raymond Merriman and Aaron Merriman, and sister Joyce Satterlee.

A Memorial Service will be held at Church of the Cross, 1600 Rush Street in Salina, Kansas, on Thursday, September 7, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Libby Themis officiating. A luncheon will be held following the service at Church of the Cross.
