Lawrence P. “Larry” Huninghake, 73, of Salina, passed away suddenly Friday, July 2, 2021. He was born April 22, 1948, in Sabetha, to Paul and Mary Ann (Stallbaumer) Huninghake.
Larry married Judy Brucken, Feb. 1, 1969, in Beattie, Kan. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed wood working in his shop. Larry worked as a HVAC tech for many local companies and retired as a building systems tech at K-State Polytechnic, Salina.
He is survived by his daughters, Tana Huninghake, Salina, Beverly Hokr (Russ), Lindsborg, Jennifer Starkel (Jerry), McPherson, and Melissa Huninghake, Salina; grandchildren, Tishnah Nelson (Ryan), Jessica Stiawalt (Chris), Cody Starkel, Amanda Starkel, and Shane Starkel; great-grandsons, Austin Brown and Justin Nelson; brothers, Lyle Huninghake (Mary), Atchison, and Galen Huninghake (Susan), Baileyville; sisters, Lois Boehmer, Bern, and Teresa Kalin, Cook, Neb.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Judy; parents; and brother, Richard.
A graveside memorial for both Larry and Judy will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
