Leon Joseph Haselhorst, 79, passed away on April 20, 2024 at Legacy at Salina.

Leon was born on December 10, 1944 in Hays, KS to parents Irvin Anthony and Ludwina Rose Schaffer Haselhorst.

He was owner of LJ’s Painting Company.

He was preceded in death by Ludwina Haselhorst (Mother), Roberta Schuckman (Sister), Glen Hatfield (Brother-in-Law), Duane Haselhorst (Brother).

Leon is survived by ; Children Tyrone Barnes and spouse Rebekah of Sarasota, FL, Waylon Haselhorst and spouse Lily of El Cerrito, CA, Travena Haselhorst – Tate and spouse Korissa of Hays, KS, Jason Haselhorst of Colorado Springs, CO; Others: Deb Hartfield (Sister) of Hays, KS, Irvin Haselhorst (Father) , Eddie Schuckman (Brother-in-Law) , Doris Zimmerman (Sister) and spouse Carl of Schoenchen, KS, Irvin “JR” Haselhorst (Brother) and spouse Gail of Munjor, KS, Donetta Lang (Sister) and spouse Don of Victoria, KS, Dale Haselhorst (Brother) and spouse Shelley of Hays, KS, Grandchildren 7, Great-Grandchildren 3; numerous nieces and nephews.
